He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Smith and Carrie Musick Smith; and his siblings, Randolph Smith of Jim Smith, D. L, Nathan Smith and Hazel Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma Green Smith; his children, Ralph Jr. Smith (Stella) of Webbville, Roy Smith (Bea) of Grayson, Kentucky, Diane Justice (Jim) of Grayson, Connie Cumpston (Jimmy) of Ashland and Carolyn Coburn (Frank) of Webbville, Kentucky; and his siblings, Gertrude Gee and Malcolm Smith (Sue) of Webbville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In leiu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Ralph's memory to the Ashland Community Hospice Center.
