James Edward Carter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Carter of Webbville, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carter and Helen Louise Posey Carter; his son James Franklin "Wobbles" Carter; his grandson Arthur Blake Sagraves; and his brother Tim Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Rewanna Hicks Carter; his daughters, Shannon Slaughter (Danny) of Rush, Christie Sagraves of Webbville and Tara Cheston (Michelle) of Falls Church, VA; his grandchildren, Jordan Smith, James Smith, Isabelle Slaughter, Michael Wade Sagraves and Taylor Dawn Sagraves; his great grandchildren, Arthur Blake Sagraves, Alice Rae Carmack and Blake David Sagraves; and his brother Phillip Robin Carter of Grayson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
