He was predeceased by: his parents, Ballard Harmon and Laura Harmon (Kirk); his wife Cora Harmon; his sons, Mark Harmon, Matthew Harmon and Luther Harmon; and his siblings, Blanche Maynard, Virginia Horn and Willard Harmon.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Harmon, Julie Cantrell, David Harmon, Melvin "Junior" Harmon, Marcella Harmon and Juanita Harmon; his siblings, Lowell Harmon, Donna Catter and Juanita Jude; and his son-in-law Paul Cantrell. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
