He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Kennedy Stephens; his daughters, Tabatha Stephens of Ashland, Stephanie Helmick (Brandon) of Morehead and Megan Mays (Derek) of Morehead, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kenley Yates of Morehead, Abigail Yates of Morehead, Bobby Ashton Barber of Ashland and Joshua Helmick of Morehead, Kentucky; and his siblings, John Martin Stephens of Grayson, Edward Stephens (Brenda) of Cleveland, Murdie Stephens (Sandra) of Grayson, Elwood Stephens (Peggy) of Grayson, Ora David Stephens (Tammy) of Hitchens, Kentucky, Thelma Jean Laney of Sandy Hook and Geneva Evans (Doug) of Rockwell. He is also survived by many other friends and family.
