With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Faye Sims of Waynesburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Wilma Faye departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Wilma Faye. Though Wilma Faye may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Alta Foley Robertson. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Sims; and her sister Vicki Robertson Johnson (Garland) of Waynesburg. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Friend Funeral Home (545 KY-328, Waynesburg, KY 40489). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Kp Hall Cemetery-Kings Mountain.
