With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Warren Lee Burton of Waynesburg, Kentucky, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burton and Grace Wall Burton; and his siblings, Wiley Burton, Clayton Burton, Russell Burton, Dave Burton and Marjorie Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Tillett Burton of Waynesburg, KY; his children, Vicky Lynn Phillips of Waynesburg, Sheila Gribbins (Carlie) of Lebanon, KY, Lee Burton of Waynesburg and Kathy Murphy (Steve) of Harrodsburg, KY; and his grandchildren, Chris Phillips (Vicki), Sarah Burton Burnley (Scott), David Burton, Jessie Gribbins, Michael Gribbins and Alyssa Murphy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
