He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Padgett and Lula Hall Padgett; and his siblings, Howard Padgett (Doris), Russel Padgett (Catherine), Lester Padgett (Veda), Walter Padgett, Lloyd Padgett, Jr. and Helen Padgett.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Robert Padgett (Lea) of Pocahontas and Benjamin Marshall Padgett (Renate Michelle) of Waynesburg; his grandchildren, Katie Phillips (Tyler) of Stanford, Madelyn Witte of Eureka Springs, Gracie Padgett of Waynesburg, Kasey Padgett of Waynesburg, Annabelle Padgett of Pocahontas and William Henry Padgett of Waynesburg; his sisters, Maxine Hoseclaw of Waynesburg and Juanita Jones (William) of Waynesburg; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Padgett of Waynesburg and Frances Padgett of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
