It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Padgett of Waynesburg, Kentucky, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Wes" Joseph Morgan and Sarah Armennie Morgan; her husband Richard Earnest Padgett; and her siblings, Rufus Morgan, William Grant Morgan, Carl Morgan, Joe Morgan, Kenneth Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Jimmy Ray Morgan, Calvin Morgan, Wayne Morgan, Orpha Nolen and Dorothy Shelton.
She is survived by: her son Earl Padgett (Sonja) of Waynesburg, KY; her brother Charles Morgan (Mollie) of Somerset, KY; her close friend Arlene Padgett of Waynesburg, KY; her grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Rebecca), Cameron Smith-Padgett (Samantha) and Kelli Shea Padgett; and her great grandchild Eden Isabell-Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
