He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Lee Spaw; and his siblings, Connie Lee Addington and William "Kenny" Spaw. He is survived by: his wife Carol Spaw; his mother Bea Spaw Staton; his son Jason Hughes; and his siblings, Karen Allen (Danny), Kathy Schulthies (Carl) and John Ray Staton.
