It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth R. Mitchell of Waynesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward B. Mitchell and Zula Alice Padgett Mitchell of Waynesburg; his siblings, Walter D. Mitchell, Amos Lee Mitchell, Zelma Mitchell and Ruby Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Andrew Walker, Jessica Walker and Johnathan Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Murphy Mitchell; his children, Mark Dennis Mitchell (Sandy) of Indiana, Vernon Mitchell of Waynesburg, Thomas Wayne Mitchell (Pamela J.) of Waynesburg, Cynthia Lou Walker (Mark) of Burlington, Pamela Sue Mason (Wayne) of Waynesburg and Julie Ann Cotton (John) of Covington, Kentucky; and his siblings, Edward "Butch" Mitchell Jr. (Deborah) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Edith Cooper of Cincinnati, Helen Hamilton of Cincinnati and Barbara Jean Mullins of South Carolina. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren plus two great grandchildren.
