Jonas Hodge Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jonas Hodge of Waynesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Lawrence and Bertie Hodge (Kidd); his siblings, Riley Owen Hodge, James Melvin Hodge, George Carlos Hodge, Alta Irene Hodge, Mamie Hodge and JoAnn Hodge; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Pike, Walter Harrison, Kelly Hodge, Faye Hodge and Sheila Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sweet Hodge; his son Jamey Hodge; and his siblings, Ruby Harrison, Delbert "Wendy" Hodge and Joyce Pike. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US-27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US-27, Science Hill, KY 42553).
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Jonas Hodge Memorial Fund c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
