He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Denney and Latitia Denney (Neal); and his siblings, Verla Hodge, Myrtle Mullins, Allene Hodge, Robert Denney, Johnny Denney and Billy Denney.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Denney (Mullins); his children, Henry R. Denney (Peggy), Jeffrey Denney (Sherry Coleman) and Melissa Thompson (Ray Whitler); and his sisters, Mary Thompson (Larry), Alice Bailey and Pauline Harp. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren.
