He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Oscar and Bessie Francis Brooks; and his grandson Hunter Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Robinson; his children, Gordon Brooks, Jr., Leslie Brooks Young and Julie Daniels; his sister Nancy Lamphier; and his grandchildren, Logan Carter, Alex Brooks, Taylor Brooks and Kacie White. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
