He was predeceased by: his parents, John Combs and Elma Ward Combs; and his brother Dwayne Combs. He is survived by: his wife Barabara Combs of Waynesburg; his children, Gary Combs, Jr. of Chattanooga, Bradley Hoover (Melissa) of Waynesburg and Oveta Dawn Mitchell of Paris, Tennessee; and his close friend Richie Roberts. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren;15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
