She was predeceased by: her parents, Finley Elliott and Linda Elliott; her spouse Russell Sims; her sons, Kenneth Sims, Donnie Sims and Kenny Sims; and her sisters, Faye Miller and Violet Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Sims (Lisa) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Jody Sims (Jessica) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Brenda Eldridge (Tyrone) of Waynesburg, Linda Peavey (Larry) of Liberty, Dianne Jones (Mike) of Waynesburg, Elaine Sims (Jimmy) of Liberty, Laverne Duff (Paul) of Stanford and Jennifer Colyer (Jerry) of Lancaster Kentucky; and her brothers, David Elliott of Danville, Junior of Yosemite, Tim Elliott of Yosemite and Larry Elliott of Versailles, Kentucky. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
