He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Leigh and Lucy Roberts Leigh; and his siblings, Ralph Leigh, Freddy Leigh Jr., Charles Hines, Bidwell Hines, Huel Leigh, Willie Clay Leigh, Geretha Leigh, May Phipps and Josephine Phipps.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Don Leigh (Gina) of Stanford, Kentucky and Judy Smith (Phillip) of Lexington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Tanner Leigh (Sarah), Tevin Leigh (Madison Poat), Whitney Smith and Lauren Smith; his great grandchildren, Logan Thorn, Rylie Fox and Brynlee Sloane Leigh; his sisters, Geneva Carman of Kings Mountain and Mabel Irvin of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; and his sister-in-law Linda Woodall (Woody) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
