He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dalton and Annie Johnson Dalton; his wife Georgia Shannon Dalton; his son Eddie Ray Dalton; his siblings, Elmer Dalton, Ballard Tackett, Sammy Tackett, Cleotis Tackett, Linda Mae Mosley, Cleoan Sammons and Helen Adkins; and his grandson Steven.
He is survived by: his children, Johnathon Dalton (Valerie) of Oil Springs, Jeff Dalton (late Carol) of Wayland, Kentucky, Terri Lynn Dalton of Wayland, Metista Conley (Marvin) of Wayland, Metilda Dalton (Robert) of Wayland, Melissa Dalton (Bear Halbert) of Printer, Bonita Griffith (Kevin) of Wayland and Emily Dalton of Salyersville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Brittany, Rachel, Bobby Lee, Josh, Seth, Zack and Dylan; and his sister-in-law Chirlcy Dalton. He is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren.
