With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Rhodes of Water Valley, Kentucky, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Zell Burgess and Mildred Mofield Burgess; her husband James Rhodes; and her siblings, Kay Kimbro and Buddy Burgess.

She is survived by: her sons, Roger Rhodes of Huntsville, AL and Jamie Rhodes (Sonia) of South Fulton, TN; her grandchildren, Jarrod Rhodes of South Fulton, TN, Roger Rhodes, Jr. (Kristi) of Nashville, TN and Jennifer Duncan of Knoxville, TN; her great grandchildren, Emma, Evan Rhodes of Troy, TN, Mattie of Nashville, TN, Caroline of Nashville, TN, Roger Rhodes III of Nashville, TN, Jimmy of Knoxville, TN and Charlotte Duncan of Knoxville, TN; and her sisters, Jean Weatherly of South Fulton, TN, Vicky Cook of South Fulton, TN and Sue Wyatt of New Orleans, LA..

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel (302 Carr St, Fulton, KY 42041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Mt Zion Cemetery.
