She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Charlton and Hallie Puckett Charlton; and her husband James Ruble Carter. She is survived by: her son Brent Carter (Sabrina) of Fulton, KY; and her stepdaughters, Wanda Wilson (Dwight) of Pryorsburg, KY and Rita Cude (Nelson, Jr.) of Wingo, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
