He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Alexander; and his parents, Gus Alexander and Ona Rogers Alexander. He is survived by: his daughter Debora Crow (Tim) of Troy, TN; his nephew Rusty Hutchison (Tiffany) of Casey; his niece Lana Darnell of Wingo; and his close friend Druella Hopkins of Water Valley.
