He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hatfield and Ruth Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mullins Hatfield; his daughter Jennifer Barbagallo (John); his grandsons, Jordan (Kaitlyn) and Hunter Barbagallo; and also, Jill Herndon (Darrell), Katherine Dawn Sharp (John), Gunner and Ryker Sharp.

In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Kentucky Humane Society.
