She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry K. Kingkade and Evelyn Louise Kingkade. She is survived by: her husband Charles Gruber; her sons, Brett, Joel (Joanna) and Adam Gruber (Kitty); her brothers, Bruce (Ruth) and H. K. Kingkade (Bettie); and her grandchildren, Steven Poynter, Charlie Gayle and Desmond Gruber.
