He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita McFarland Porter; his daughter Peggy Jean Porter; his parents, Willie Porter and Livonia Porter; and his brothers, Lester, J. Chester, Gerald and Leonard Porter.
He is survived by: his children, Gale Porter Gentry, Jo Ann Robbins (Jim) and Jerry Kenneth Porter (Linda); his grandsons, Brian Robbins and Willie Porter; and his great grandchildren, MacKenzie Robbins, Nolan Robbins and Ian Robbins.
