He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Delores; his parents-in-law, George and Revia Russell; his siblings, Paul, Nathan, Steven Rodgers and Marsha McClung; and his brother-in-law Charles "Jay" Brock.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Rodgers; his children, Heather Jo Rich, Alisha Uddin (Imran), Larry R. "Bubba" (Kristin) and Jordan B. Rodgers; his grandchildren, Abigail Rodgers, Madison Rich, Ethan Rich, Emily Rich, Anna, Ella and Kinley Rodgers; and his sisters, Linda Jo Rodgers, Brenda Collingsworth (Johnny) and Anita Rodgers. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
