He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Marcell and Aline Marcell; and his siblings, David, Shirley, Louise and Laveda.

He is survived by: his wife Marian Marcell; his children, Dan Marcell, Norman Kruzich and Yvonne Kruzich; his sister Charlotte Fowler; and his granddaughter Jazmine Kruzich.
