It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Jenkins of Washington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nation and Abbie Myrtle Nation; her husband Paul Jenkins; and her siblings, Jamie, Jessie, Elvy, Garney, Paul Nation and Dorothy Carson.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse Sutherland (Lisa) and Denise Brown (Greg); and her sisters, Mary Keeling and Wanda Huckleberry. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
