She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. Burkhead Sr.; her son Joseph E. Burkhead Jr.; her parents, John Brown and Ethel Brown; and her brothers, John Brown, Jr. and Clyde Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Denny (Eleanor), Stuart (Debbie), Steve Burkhead (Ana) and Ann Milburn; and her brother Bennie Brown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
