He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kinnard Terry and Juanita Key Terry; his wife Linda Chepes; his sons, Stephen Douglas Terry II and Joseph Scott Terry; his granddaughter Cora Terry; his brother Darrell Terry of Danville; and his aunts, Ruth Key Brackett of Danville and Lucille Terry Curtis of Danville. He was also cherished by three nieces.
