Sarah Ella Marksberry Obituary
In loving memory of Sarah Ella Marksberry of Warsaw, Kentucky, who departed this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 99. Sarah Ella leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. Norris and Mrytle McAtee Norris; her husband Charles Edward "Ed" Marksberry, Sr.; her son Thomas H. Marksberry; her sisters, Mary Evlyan Barnes, Mary Katherine Hutchison and Lillian Smith; and her granddaughter Denise A. Mallicoat.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Maxwell (Wayne), Linda Eckler, Sally Marksberry (Lee), Kimberly Carrico (Charles), Bedford, Charles E. Marksberry II and Donald Marksberry (Connie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Garnett-New Funeral Home (108 E Main St, Warsaw, KY 41095). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
