He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Junior B. Reed and Vera Reed (Fryar); his wife Mary E. Reed (Miracle); his children, Leslie, Melanie, Gary Jr., Bryan, Jason and Ronnie; and his sister Vera Belle Sosby. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren.
