He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Forrest Poteet and Joyce Sudella Thompson Maines; and his sister Pam Franks. He is survived by: his children, Sean Poteet of Williamstown, Chandra Dunn (Donnie) of Williamstown, Mandy Calhoun (Scott) of Corinth and Jackie Poteet of Dry Ridge; his girlfriend Edith Biddle; and his sisters, June Jones of Walton and Robin Franks of Tennessee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
