He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Marcum and Vicie Fitchpatrick Warrix Marcum; his siblings, Donald Ray Warrix, Charles Warrix, Verlin Warrix and Shelia Marcum; his granddaughter Marcia Ward; and his mother-in-law Catherine Crum.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Whitt Marcum (Lisa); his sons, Gabriel Marcum (Shawnta) of Marrowbone, WV, Rodney Lee Marcum (Jessica) of Nolan, WV and Dewey Sheridan Marcum (Ami) of Left Fork; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Rodney Dale, Ethan, Katherine Jean, Jessie, Audri, Gabriel Eugene Jr., Lacie LaShae and Shyla Watts; and his sisters, Shirley Waller of Texas and Joyce Ferrell of Georgetown, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
