He is survived by: his wife Lavonda Witek Asher; his sons, Michael Asher (April), Shannon Asher (Brittany) and Dalton Asher; his grandchildren, Mikey Melton, Chris Melton, Jared Asher and Jalynn Hoskins; his great grandchildren, Lucy Melton and Easton Melton; and his siblings, Bob Asher (Brenda), Edna Sue Melton, Pat, John Wayne, Bobby Dill, George Asher, Scarlet Asher and Margaret Asher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
