With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Syreta Kay Duvall in Walton, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 71. In the sacred silence of farewell, Syreta Kay is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Syreta Kay's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Baker and Clara Baker; and her brother Donald Baker. She is survived by: her husband Greg Duvall; her daughter Michelle Jones (Andrew); her grandsons, Victor Jones and Lyndon Jones; her siblings, Debbie Baker and Frank Baker (Julie); and her sister-in-law Gail Baker. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Richwood Presbyterian Cemetery (1070 Richwood Rd, Walton, KY 41094).
