Richard left this world on June 19, 2024, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, Christopher Columbus Spencer and Amy Case Spencer; his siblings, Barbara Spencer Nabor and Mark Spencer; his granddaughter Lauren Angel; and his son-in-law Jim Angel.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Rouse Spencer; his children, Holden Donohoo, Hunter Donohoo, Greg Spencer (Sharon), Laurie Angel, Scott Spencer and Mark Spencer (Melanie); his stepdaughters, Amanda and Andrea Donohoo; and his pet Boone. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hopeful Lutheran Church (6430 Hopeful Church Rd, Florence, KY 41042). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
