He was predeceased by: his parents, Gola Short and Barbara [West] Short; his siblings, Robert Short, Arnie Short, Lynda Van Tyle, Barbara Eubanks and Gola James "Jim" Short; and his nephew Jimmy Pat.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Lynne Short (JoAnn McCaughan) and Mark Eubanks; and his nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Erica, Bobbie, Jennifer, Joey, Ryan, Christopher, Matthew, Reva, Brendan, Hailey, Brian and Mike. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, other close relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Short family.
