He was predeceased by: his wife Truda Bowling; and his siblings, James, George, Reuben, Owen, Liza, Alex, Charles, Marie, Arthur and Jessie.

He is survived by: his pet Penny; his children, Ann Kennedy (Jim) and Cecil Bowling (Tara); his grandchildren, Amy Moore (Rick), Joe Kennedy, Nathan Leslie (Chastity) and David Bowling (Bethany); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Brennan, Keegan, Natasha, Aaron, Braxton and Mabel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lucky Tales Rescue at luckytalesrescue.org.
