He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mackey and Wanda Mackey; his sister Mary Hoffman; his nephew John Hoffman; and his niece Sarah Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gibson Mackey; his sons, Sean Mackey (Jamie) of Taylor Mill and Gabriel Brown (Alexandria) of Walton; his siblings, Patrick Mackey (Celeste) of Burlington and Anita Ripperda (Moe) of Damionsville, IL; his grandchildren, Luke, Ashley and Eva Lockeby; his former wife Ann Soldano (Mike); and his pets, Finnley, Fletcher, Chester and Mondo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home (14635 Walton-Verona Rd, Verona, KY 41092). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
