He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Mary Jo Mitchell (Addington); his parents, Harvey Mitchell and Madge Mitchell (Brown); his children, Dwight Mitchell (Angie), Dennis Mitchell (Jenny), Haylee Robinson (Caleb), Hayden Mitchell, Shelby Mitchell and Garrett Mitchell; his sisters, Gloria Austin and Carleen Maggard; and his sister-in-law Barb Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Walton (45 N Main St, Walton, KY 41094). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY 41097).
