It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Whitehead of Wallins, Kentucky, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Whitehead and Naomi Gross Whitehead; and his siblings, Thed, Alford, Oscar, Roscoe, Dexter Whitehead, Lottie Dixon and Carol Couch.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Thelma Young Whitehead; his son Scott Duncan; his stepsons, Spencer Bailey (Nancy), John Bailey of Williamsburg, KY and Kenneth Cornett (Holly); and his siblings, Manuel Whitehead and Mary Greene.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Loyall Funeral Home (104 Wilkerson St, Loyall, KY 40854). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
