He is survived by: his wife Mary Thelma Young Whitehead; his son Scott Duncan; his stepsons, Spencer Bailey (Nancy), John Bailey of Williamsburg, KY and Kenneth Cornett (Holly); and his siblings, Manuel Whitehead and Mary Greene.
