He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Leath and Dalia Leath; and his brother Willie Dixon Leath. He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Leath; his children, Crystal McClain (Tommy Pace) and William "Bill" Leath (April); his sisters, Jackie Godsey of Tremont and Barbara Baltimore of Loyall; his grandchildren, Dalton McClain, Chase McClain, Izabella Leath, Dylan Phillips and Dawson Phillips; his nieces, Lisa Cornett (Tim), Donna Branson (Robert), Teresa Stanley and Renee Shepherd (David); his nephew Stevie Baltimore; his brothers-in-law, Ben Stanley and Dillard Stanley; his great-nephew Dylan Lively; his close friends, T. L. Crabtree, J. W. Thomas and Steven Stewart (Mickey); and his brother John Sargent.
