He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Adams and Myrtle Bishop Adams; and his daughter Barbara Howard. He is survived by: his sons, James Adams Jr., Brandon Adams and Michael Wayne Adams; and his siblings, Pete Adams, Candy Shackleford and Margaret Adams. He is also survived by Eleven Grandchildren.
