He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Farmer and Catherine Gambrel Farmer; his wife June Orick Farmer; his son David Allen Farmer; and his siblings, James Gorden "Bud" Farmer, Robert Farmer, Jr, Vernon Farmer, Thomas Farmer, Clifford "Red" Farmer, Frank "Buddy" Farmer, Opal Pinachio, Jean Patrick, Nora Marlow and Betty Sue Scott.
He is survived by: his son Gary Farmer (Janie); his grandchildren, Bethany Moore (Cannon) and Ryan Farmer; his great grandchild Harper Farmer; his sister Vina Duncan; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Asher (Eugene).
