It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Sanders Sr. of Wallins, Kentucky, born in Arjay, Kentucky, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sanders and Elizabeth Powell Sanders; his wife Mildred Brock Sanders; his daughter Jackie Sanders; and his siblings, Frank, Ron, JB Sanders, Corine Howell, Rita Rice and Pearlie Sanders.
He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Joe Sanders, Jr. (Mistie), Roy Sanders (Amy) and Christopher Sanders; his grandchildren, Nicole Blevins, Amber Sanders and Trey Sanders (Jocelyn); his great grandchildren, Jaycee Simpson, Nolan Simpson, Emersyn Sanders, Wesley Sanders and Wylie Sanders; and his siblings, Roy Sanders, Jr. (Mattie) and Shirley Gambrel (Ben). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
