It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlis Hensley of Wallins, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Moss Hensley and Rinda Hopkins Hensley; his son Arlis Ray Hensley, Jr.; his siblings, Irene Meeks (Charles), Ann VanDeursen (Sam), Della Haywood, Geraldine Adams, Cecil Hensley (Betty), Jay Hensley, Gilbert Hensley (Betty) and Wendell "Tubby" Hensley; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Hensley and Birdie Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Craig Hensley; his children, April Simpson (Robert) of Wallins and T. J. Hensley (Melinda); his siblings, Betty Jean Parker (Bob), Margaret Puleo (Denny), Eugene Hensley and Chuck Hensley; his sister-in-law Henrietta Hensley; his daughter-in-law Kristie Hensley; and his grandchildren, Evan, Ethan Simpson, Allison, Colten, Bentley Hensley, Collin Kirk, Landin, Payton, Noah Blackwelder and Lyndsey Collins (Tyler). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
