He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Noel and Anna Mae Hester of Wallingford; his brothers, James Hester and Donald Hester; and his nephew Bill Barnoski.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Gray Hester; his nephew Daniel Hester (Tara) of Wallingford; his nieces, Melissa Gilliam (George) of Olive Hill and Michelle Barnoski of Tollesboro; and his siblings-in-law, Boyd Gray (Debbie) of Hillsboro and Bessie Shrout of Marion, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
