He is survived by: his wife Lydia Ann Carnes (Smith); his children, Scott Carnes (Jessica) of Piqua, Oscar Carnes, Jr. (Charlotte) of Walker, Charles Carnes (Melanie) of Tazewell, Brenda McCarthy (Randy Jones) and Linda Burdick (Troy) of Sioux City; and his siblings, Sammie Carnes (Sherry) of Walker, Anna Mae Messer of Barbourville, Tammy Jones (Jim) of Corbin, Wanda Mills of Bimble and Pam Hubbard (Norma Carnes) of Barbourville. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
