It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Messer of Walker, Kentucky, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Waymond Messer; her parents, Eli Carnes and Martha Carnes (Mills); her siblings, Harold Carnes, Jake Carnes, Minnie Carnes and Ruby Carter; and her granddaughter Bridget Penn.

She is survived by: her children, Robbie Messer (Betty) of Bimble, Dickie Messer (Mitzi) of Walker, Debbie Messer of Walker, Patricia Watts (Sam) of Artemus and Peggy Smith (Terry) of Mt. Sterling; her siblings, Sammy Carnes (Sherry) of Walker, Wanda Mills of Bimble, Norma Taylor of Corbin, Pam Hubbard (Wayne) of Barbourville and Tammy Jones of Corbin; her grandchildren, Shannon Mills, Jeremy Messer, Crystal Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Ashley Cullum, Terry Dewayne Smith, Frankie Messer, Tyler Messer, Jimberly Watts, Samuel Watts, Brandy Messer, Dustin Messer and Shae Disney; and her great grandchildren, Whitney Abdzur, Kourtlin Mills, Maddox Messer, Mia Messer, Marley Messer, Aden Penn, Brently Penn, Autumn Napier, Madison Edwards, Logan Edwards, Ava Cullum, Blake Cullum, Marissa Smith, Emma Messer, Bently Messer and Mackenzie Messer.

There will be capacity restrictions and face coverings will be required as well as social distancing guidelines of six feet apart.
