It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky L. Simpson of Waddy, Kentucky, born in Shelbyville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Lee and Violet Smith Simpson of Virginia; his son Derek Lance Simpson; and his siblings, Ezra Glenn Simpson, Carol Conway and Donna Sue Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Libby Simpson of Waddy; his son Ricky Simpson II (Michelle) of Frankfort; and his grandchildren, Isaac Simpson, Emma Simpson, Josiah Simpson and Micah Simpson.
