He is survived by: his wife Judy Shafar; his son Devin Joseph Shafar (Erika) of Jamesville; his stepson Jeremy Jones of Waddy; his siblings, Mary Carol Goninan (Rick) of Ellisville, Diana Hilbert (Stephen) of Taylorsville and Kevin Shafar (Misty) of Taylorsville; his grandchild Korbyn Shafar; and his stepgrandchildren, Ethan Castle, Jordan Allen Jones, Brandon Clay Jones and Jonathan Parker Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
